About Us

Risingegården is a residential care home (HVB) for girls aged 12 to 20 with psychosocial and/or neuropsychiatric challenges, self-harming behaviors, history of abuse, and risky behaviors related to substance abuse, violence, and crime. Risingegården provides treatment, outpatient care, and supported housing.

Working with young people is among the most important and rewarding things one can do. With nearly 30 years in the industry, we have the experience, are well-established, and have a good reputation, while always being driven to develop and improve. To enhance our attentiveness and ability to interact well, all staff are trained in MBT – Mentalization-Based Treatment in the milieu – and the program "Guiding Interaction/ICDP".

Temporary Treatment Staff (Casual)

We have a continuous need for casual staff throughout all months of the year, although the need is particularly high during the summer. Therefore, we are looking for someone available for work during the summer. As a temporary treatment staff member, you will help plan and participate in the daily activities of the youths, act as a support in their daily lives, and work therapeutically based on individual implementation plans and goals. You will also actively work with documentation, such as patient records.

Working hours are varied, including days, evenings, weekends, and nights with sleeping on-call duty. Being on call awake may also be required if necessary.

We have three different treatment units: one larger unit with up to six residents, and two smaller units with one or two residents each.

We would like you to be a secure and stable person with a positive outlook on life. You should be engaged, attentive, and have a low-affective approach. Previous experience working with young people is desirable, and you should have a reasonable age difference from our youths. A valid driver's license (Category B) is required.

Education Requirements

We are looking for someone with an ongoing – or preferably completed – post-secondary education of at least two years, or an education assessed as equivalent. Your education should be focused on social work, social pedagogy, behavioral science, or similar, such as treatment pedagogy or social pedagogy.
